Media: Russia to dominate grain market in 2023-2024

Russia will continue to dominate the grain market in 2023-2024, despite the insecurity of shipping in the Black Sea.

"Russia will continue to dominate and this is necessary in an unstable market," Le Figaro quoted a French company Agritel analyst as saying.

According to a report by the US Department of Agriculture, global wheat supplies will drop by 3 million tonnes as a result of a decline in production in Canada and Europe.

In this situation, Russia will strengthen its position as the world's leading exporter of grain, the newspaper said.
