Mehr: Iran sends letter to UN Security Council over US “economic terrorism”

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has sent a letter to the UN secretary-general and members of the UN Security Council over what Tehran describes as the United States’ policy of “economic terrorism”, the Mehr news agency reports.

According to the report, Araghchi emphasised the “legal and moral responsibility of the United Nations and all governments” to condemn what he called the “illegal and criminal actions” of the US administration.
