Minibus collision in eastern Türkiye leaves 27 injured in Kars province
An accident involving minibuses has occurred in the Kars province in eastern Türkiye, leaving at least 27 people injured.
The crash occurred at an intersection on January 1 in the evening, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
One vehicle, carrying passengers, was heading to the town of Sarıkamış, while the other was en route to Kağızman. Photos from the scene show one minibus crashing into a pole, causing it to nearly tip over on its side. Emergency services arrived at the scene, and the injured were taken to the hospital, with one of them reported to be in critical condition.
Earlier, a severe traffic accident on the Ankara-Aksaray highway resulted in the tragic death of seven individuals.
The collision also left 33 others injured, with two reported to be in critical condition.
The accident involved a tourist bus carrying two drivers, one guide, and 41 passengers, which veered off the road and overturned.
