Minister: Türkiye values ​​common positions with Russia on Palestinian issue

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has said that Türkiye has common positions with Russia on the Palestinian issue and appreciates it.

Fidan made these remarks at a press conference in Ankara after negotiations with his Brazilian counterpart Mauro Vieira, TASS reports.

“During my visit to Russia, we held several meetings. We discussed bilateral relations, including energy, trade, security, transport and regional issues. In particular, we talked about the ongoing war in Ukraine and the solutions to the conflict. Of course, we also discussed Syria, Palestine and the South Caucasus. We appreciate and are pleased that the Russian Federation has the same opinion on the Palestinian issue,” Fidan said.

The minister added that the Russian side spoke positively about Türkiye’s approaches to the topic of Ukraine.
