Moldova expresses wish to learn from Azerbaijan's positive experience in crime control
Moldova wants to learn from Azerbaijan's experience in the field of crime control and public order.
This wish was expressed during a meeting between the Interior Ministers of Azerbaijan and Moldova, Vilayet Eyvazov and Sergey Diakonu, according to Report.
Eyvazov noted that relations and interaction between Azerbaijan and Moldova are gradually deepening and that the ministry attaches great importance to the development of relations with the law enforcement agencies of Moldova, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Moldova's Diakonu expressed confidence that such visits will give new stimulus to the further expansion of cooperation between the Ministries of the two countries and expressed his interest in studying the positive experience Azerbaijani colleagues have in the field of combating crime and maintaining public order.
The prime directions and prospects of cooperation and other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Moldova, Gudsi Osmanov, also attended the meeting.
