Azerbaijan, Georgia deepen military education cooperation

The Military Management Institute of the Azerbaijan National Defence University hosted a delegation from the Defence Institution Building School (DIBS) of the Georgian Ministry of Defence.

The meeting aimed to foster collaboration with education experts under the “Defence and Security Strategic Program” between the Azerbaijani and Georgian Defence Ministries, as well as to provide the delegation with an overview of Azerbaijan’s security and defence policies, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, the Georgian delegation was briefed on the Institute’s history, mission, academic structure, study programs, and educational fields. Following the briefing, the parties engaged in discussions on topics of mutual interest.

An educational tour was subsequently organized to familiarize the Georgian representatives with the Institute’s training facilities and educational opportunities. The delegation was also informed about recent reforms and innovations in military education within the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

The visit concluded with an exchange of keepsakes, symbolizing the strengthening of cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries’ defence institutions.
