Caucasus Muslims Office chair to visit Saudi Arabia
Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Сhairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), will visit Saudi Arabia on November 25.
Pashazade will participate in the launch of the electronic platform of the World Islamic League (WIL), Caliber.Az reports, citing the CMO website.
The ceremony will also be attended by muftis, prominent Islamic scholars, and representatives of institutions specialising in fiqh and Sharia studies.
The Muslim World League (MWL) is a Saudi-based international non-governmental organization founded in 1962. Its headquarters are in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and it operates globally with the stated goal of promoting Islamic teachings, interfaith dialogue, and humanitarian initiatives.
The MWL works to support Islamic education, charitable activities, and the spread of moderate Islamic values around the world. It also engages in diplomatic and cultural outreach, aiming to foster understanding between Muslim and non-Muslim communities.
