Baku, Cairo explore new tech, trade opportunities PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Egypt have discussed opportunities for collaboration in digital development and information and communications technology (ICT).
Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, shared the update on his X account, noting that officials took part in the sixth meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic, Technical and Scientific Cooperation in Cairo.
During the meeting, Azerbaijan provided details on its macroeconomic performance over the past year and the volume of trade between the two countries.
Nabiyev highlighted the commission as an effective platform for expanding bilateral cooperation.
The discussions also covered potential collaboration in areas including mutual investments, trade, food industry and agriculture, energy, transport, science and education, healthcare, culture, tourism, youth, and sports.
