Azerbaijan, Oman to share expertise in justice, legal affairs

Azerbaijan and Oman have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation and the exchange of experience in the fields of justice and law.

According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Justice, the agreement was signed by the justice ministers of both countries following bilateral talks, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The MoU outlines collaboration on expanding the use of information and communication technologies in the justice sector, as well as developing a legal framework for mutual legal assistance, extradition, and the transfer of sentenced individuals.

Officials noted that increased mutual visits and a broader exchange of expertise are expected to strengthen legal cooperation between the two nations.
