Moldova launches "Fire Shield - 2024" military drills with US & Romanian forces

Moldova has commenced military exercises codenamed "Fire Shield - 2024," featuring the participation of US and Romanian servicemen.

The exercises aim to enhance operational capabilities and improve the interoperability of the participating forces, Caliber.Az reports, citing a statement on the Moldovan Defence Ministry website.

The exercises will involve military-technical units and artillery systems from the national army.

The Defence Ministry also informed us that military equipment will be moving along Moldova's roads in the coming days, urging the population to remain calm and seek updates from official sources.
