Netanyahu: Israel maintains relentless pressure on Hamas
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has emphasised that Israel is maintaining relentless pressure on Hamas and is working to broaden the circle of peace with the US.
"We remain relentless in this mission, enabled by the military pressure applied by our courageous soldiers ... We are not letting up on this for a moment,” Netanyahu said during his second meeting in two days with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, Caliber.Az reports, citing Israeli media.
Netanyahu also announced the emergence of new opportunities to broaden the circle of peace and the Abraham Accords. “We are working on this with full energy,” he added.
The meeting comes amid Israel’s ongoing efforts to dismantle Hamas’s military and political capabilities and secure the release of approximately 50 hostages still held in Gaza, with about 20 believed alive, following Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack that killed 1,200 and abducted 251.
