More than 30 injured as passenger bus overturns in Türkiye

A passenger bus travelling from Istanbul to Kuşadası overturned after crashing into a roadside barrier on the Kütahya–Afyonkarahisar highway, leaving at least 31 people injured.

Emergency response teams, including AFAD rescuers, firefighters, medical personnel, police and gendarmerie units, were dispatched to the scene following reports of the accident, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

The injured received first aid at the site before being transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

Traffic on the Kütahya–Afyonkarahisar highway in the direction of Afyonkarahisar has been temporarily suspended while authorities respond to the incident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
