Morning attacks devastate Iranian Kurdistan’s security, military sites

A series of coordinated attacks struck multiple security and intelligence facilities in Sanandaj, Iranian Kurdistan in the early hours of March 2, videos shared on social media show, Iranwire reports.

Local sources confirm that the assaults inflicted serious damage on key sites, including the Revolutionary Guards’ prison in Shahramfar, an intelligence building, a police station near the Medical University, and the Imam Ali military camp.

Media reports indicate a significant number of casualties. Many of the injured are receiving treatment at Sanandaj’s four main hospitals, as well as at medical facilities operated by the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
