Moscow, Baku eye stronger economic partnership, says Russian official
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk has reaffirmed the strategic significance of deepening economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, highlighting the ongoing efforts by both nations to enhance bilateral relations.
His remarks came during a briefing with journalists, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
According to Overchuk, recent meetings of the Russia-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission underscored mutual recognition of progress in economic collaboration and the shared commitment to advancing it further.
“We held an intergovernmental commission meeting, and on both sides we acknowledged that our economic cooperation is developing,” he stated.
“The cooperation that exists between Russia and Azerbaijan is very important for our two countries, and we are working to further improve these relations.”
