Moscow deems Israeli envoy's arms remarks "strange" amidst contradictory signals
Moscow has publicly characterized as "strange" the repeated statements by Israel's Ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, regarding arms deliveries to Kyiv, particularly in light of subsequent denials from the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
The comments, articulated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, underscore what Moscow perceives as an unusual and potentially misleading pattern of communication from a diplomatic official, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Speaking to reporters, Zakharova highlighted a specific instance where the Israeli Foreign Ministry refuted remarks made by Ambassador Brodsky concerning the potential delivery of Patriot missile systems to Kyiv.
"The strange thing is that he repeats these statements regularly," Zakharova asserted.
"After all, these are not 'value judgments' or 'personal viewpoints.' These are factual pronouncements by a public official," she added.
