Moscow slams Armenian authorities for not taking public opinion into account

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said the Armenian authorities do not take into account public opinion in the decision-making process.

She made the remarks on the air of Sputnik radio, Lenta.Ru reports.

“Decisions are being made that are of national significance not only for today but also in the context of the history of the nation. The authorities make these decisions without relying on public opinion, without relying on the results of the plebiscite,” Zakharova said.

She added that the final actions of the authorities in Armenia contradict everything they promised before the elections.
