MP: Armenia continues arresting military

Armenian MP from "I have the Honour" faction Tigran Abrahamyan has said that the arrests of the military will be continued in Armenia.

New criminal cases will be initiated, Abrahamyan said in an interview with the Armenian media, commenting on the criminal cases against generals Mikael Arzumanyan and Jalal Harutyunyan, according to Caliber.Az.

“For these authorities, the armed forces are not the forces of paramount importance, therefore, laws and decisions are not made to increase the combat capability of the army, non-professional personnel, serving internal party interests, is appointed,” the MP noted, touching on the situation in the Armenian Armed Forces as a whole.
