Multinational special forces exercise “Troy Tracks 2026” begins in Georgia
Multinational special forces exercises titled “Troy Tracks 2026” have begun in Georgia at the Special Operations Command base in Mukhrani, the Georgian Ministry of Defence has announced.
It said in a statement that the multinational exercises in Georgia are being held for the fourth time, and “military personnel from the special operations forces of Georgia, Spain, Poland, Romania, the United States, and the United Kingdom are participating,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Georgian participation in the drills includes the Special Operations Command Ranger Battalion, the Eastern and Western Special Operations Battalions, volunteer units, reconnaissance companies of the National Guard, and personnel from the territorial reserve.
The exercises are organised by the U.S. Special Operations Command Europe in cooperation with the Special Operations Forces of the Georgian Armed Forces.
