Musk shares his negative drug test report, silencing NYT allegations PHOTO
On June 17, 2025, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to publish the full lab report from his most recent drug screening, aiming to put to rest circulating rumours about his alleged substance use.
The report posted on X has proven that Musk doesn’t use any drugs, as all 24 tests have turned out to be negative, Caliber.Az writes.
To be clear, the report, dated June 17 and conducted by Fastest Labs of South Austin, showed negative results across a comprehensive panel of tests—including ketamine, cocaine, amphetamines, opioids, and cannabis—with all validity checks (pH, creatinine, nitrite) falling within normal ranges
Elon Musk’s post comes as a direct response to a recent report by The New York Times, which alleged that he had used a “cocktail” of substances—including high-dose ketamine, ecstasy, and psychedelic mushrooms—while serving in a government advisory role under Trump.

In sharing the unredacted lab document on his personal X account, Musk appeared to mock the allegations, captioning the post simply with “lol” and reiterating on X.
The report by The New York Times also claimed that the tech billionaire travels with a daily pill box containing around 20 different medications.
