Netblocks: Internet blackout in Iran continues for 87th day

An internet outage in Iran has continued for the 87th day, lasting more than 2,064 hours, according to internet monitoring group NetBlocks.

NetBlocks said the prolonged shutdown has significantly reduced transparency around developments in the country, Caliber.Az reports.

It noted that measure had obscured ongoing executions, exacerbating inhumane conditions and the daily uncertainty faced by imprisoned regime critics, dissidents and tourists.
