26 May 2026 12:31
Internet restrictions in Iran have entered their 88th consecutive day, with the digital blackout now exceeding 2,088 hours, according to internet monitoring group NetBlocks.
It said the outage remains in place despite a presidential order issued the previous day to restore access, Caliber.Az reports.
“Internet connectivity remains cut in Iran with the digital blackout now having entered its 88th day, surpassing 2088 hours of isolation from the outside world. Metrics confirm the shutdown currently remains in effect despite the president's order yesterday to restore access,” it noted.
