New wheat, fertiliser shipment moves from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan PHOTO
A new shipment of wheat and fertilisers from Russia has been dispatched to Armenia via Azerbaijan, according to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
From the Bilajari station in the suburbs of Baku, four railcars carrying 280 tons of wheat and four railcars carrying 277 tons of fertilisers were sent toward the Boyuk Kasik station, en route to Armenia, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The cargo is being transported in transit from Russia through Azerbaijani territory.
To date, more than 28,000 tons of wheat, over 4,000 tons of fertilisers, as well as shipments of aluminium and buckwheat, have already been transported along this route.
In addition, deliveries of petroleum products to Armenia via Azerbaijan continue. To date, more than 10,000 tons of diesel fuel have been delivered, along with gasoline of grades AI-92 and AI-95.
