Next Supreme Leader of Iran may be a hardliner Private US intelligence
25 August 2024 09:50
The next Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic could be a more hardline figure if President Pezeshkian's economic policies fail.
According to Caliber.Az, this is reported by the American private intelligence and analysis company Stratfor, known as the "shadow CIA."
It is noted that in such a case, the new top leader may decide to develop nuclear weapons.
However, if President Pezeshkian's policies succeed, "the next Supreme Leader of Iran may mirror Khamenei or even be more reformist," the think tank emphasizes.
