Now Armenian citizens can stay in Kazakhstan beyond 90 days without visa
03 September 2025 13:24
Armenian citizens will no longer need a visa to stay in Kazakhstan for more than 90 days—they will be able to obtain a temporary residence permit, Caliber.Az reports, citing the official Telegram channel of Kazakhstan’s Mazhilis.
The 90-day limit for Kazakh and Armenian citizens staying in each other’s country remains unchanged.
Visitors can stay up to 90 days from the date of entry, and the total stay cannot exceed this limit within six months.
After this period, Armenian citizens will be allowed to remain in Kazakhstan by applying for a temporary residence permit for purposes such as work, study, business, or family reunification. Previously, this required obtaining a visa.
