Official: Azerbaijan keen to attract investments from partners for Karabakh’s reconstruction

Azerbaijan is interested in attracting investments from partner countries to rehabilitate its Karabakh region.

Azerbaijani First Deputy Economy Minister Elnur Aliyev made the remarks at the Azerbaijan Investment and Youth Entrepreneurship Forum on November 17, Trend reports.

He noted that today's forum is an important platform for promoting trade, economic cooperation and Azerbaijan's investment opportunities.

"Our government is investing heavily in reconstruction work. The economic reintegration of the territories liberated from occupation, and the use of the possibilities of new international and regional transport and transit corridors will give a great impetus to the development of both our country and the region as a whole. I want to emphasise that the Karabakh region has great potential in the transport and transit sector, renewable energy, agriculture, industry, mining and other sectors," Aliyev added.
