Official: Iran executes participant in January protests PHOTO

Iran’s Supreme Court has carried out the death penalty by hanging for Ali Fahim, a participant in the January protests.

The official news outlet of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) described Fahim as “one of the enemy elements involved in the terrorist unrest of December 2025”, who targeted restricted military sites in an attempt to seize armouries and steal weapons.

Authorities said the sentence was executed after the Supreme Court reviewed and confirmed the conviction.
