Official: Those who rob Armenia speak of historical justice

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armenian prime minister’s office Taron Chakhoyan has written that those who rob Armenia speak of historical justice.

“People whose children are not even citizens of Armenia talk about restoring historical justice in Armenia,” Chakhoyan wrote on Facebook while commenting on statements made by the Armenian opposition standing against the changes to the Declaration of Independence, Caliber.Az reports.

“Those who have not visited Armenia for decades speak about historical justice. A group of people who fled Armenia due to various criminal cases and settled in foreign countries are restoring historical justice. People who for decades rigged elections, embezzled budgetary funds, deceived people and robbed the army speak about historical justice. People whose sons left Armenia long ago to avoid military service speak of historical justice. I am not against restoring historical justice, but this cannot be at the expense of Armenia’s statehood and sovereignty,” he wrote.
