Turkish business delegation holds talks in Baku on investment, tax cooperation
A delegation of Turkish entrepreneurs has visited Azerbaijan for high-level talks aimed at strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
The meeting was held at Azerbaijan’s State Tax Service with the support of the Turkish Trade Centre, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
According to officials from the Tax Service, the Turkish delegation included representatives from a range of sectors including textiles, construction, ICT, furniture, food production, and agriculture.
Discussions centred on tax and customs administration, as well as investment support mechanisms available in Azerbaijan.
Nijat Imanov, Head of the Main Department for Tax Policy at the State Tax Service (STS) briefed the delegation on available tax incentives, particularly those offered in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
Yılmaz Okuklu, director of the Turkish Trade Center, delivered a presentation outlining potential avenues for cooperation between business communities in both countries.
