Official: Zangezur Corridor to transform Eastern Türkiye into key logistics hub

Kars Governor Ziya Polat said that once the Zangezur Corridor becomes operational, both the region surrounding Kars and the eastern Turkish province itself are expected to develop into a significant logistics hub for international trade. 

Speaking to journalists about the outcomes of his recent visit to Azerbaijan, Polat noted that the provincial administration is actively encouraging investment aimed at strengthening Kars’ logistics infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

He described the meetings and events held in Nakhchivan and Baku as highly productive, particularly those focused on investment opportunities in the restoration and development of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.

The governor expressed confidence that the discussions held in Azerbaijan would soon yield practical results.
