Oil depot fire reported in Russia’s Krasnodar region

A fire has broken out at an oil depot in the town of Tikhoretsk in southern Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, according to local authorities.

The regional operational headquarters reported that the facility had been attacked and subsequently caught fire.

“A fire has occurred at an oil depot facility in Tikhoretsk. There are no fatalities or injuries. A total of 224 personnel and 56 units of equipment have been deployed to extinguish the blaze, including staff from the regional department of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations,” the statement said.
