Oman, Armenia expand diplomatic, economic relations
Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi held official talks with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Muscat, as the two countries moved to deepen bilateral relations.
The discussions focused on advancing friendly ties and expanding cooperation across a range of sectors, Caliber.Az reports, citing a statement by Oman’s Foreign Ministry on X.

The sides agreed on the importance of further structuring bilateral relations through new agreements and memorandums of understanding.
Regional developments also featured prominently in the talks, with the ministers emphasizing the role of dialogue and diplomacy in promoting stability and achieving peaceful solutions amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
As part of the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between their foreign ministries, establishing a formal institutional framework for continued cooperation and dialogue.
The Omani delegation included Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Dr Sulaiman bin Saud Al Jabri, Head of the Legal Department, and Munther bin Mahfouz Al Mandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department.
The Armenian side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, Ambassador to Oman Hrachya Poladian, and other officials.
