One of PM Pashinyan's main opponents beaten up in Armenia
In Armenia, the leader of the Independence Movement, ex-governor, former ambassador Edgar Ghazaryan was beaten.
This was reported to the Armenian media by the press service of the Armenian police, according to Caliber.Az.
According to the department, the signal that Ghazaryan was beaten came from the Erebuni medical centre, where he was taken by ambulance.
“The ambulance delivered Kazaryan with injuries to the hospital.
At the moment, all the circumstances of the incident are being investigated. The materials have been handed over to the preliminary investigation body,” the police said.
Ghazaryan was taken to the hospital from 16 Yeghbayrutyan Street. There is no information about the attackers.
Public figure Naira Zohrabyan, in turn, said that Ghazaryan was beaten near his house. Other details are not yet known.
Edgar Ghazaryan has repeatedly organized rallies in Yerevan demanding the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
