Operation against ISIS in Türkiye: 92 arrested Video
An operation named Gürz-47 against the terrorist organisation ISIS has been carried out in 16 provinces of Türkiye.
Ali Yerlikaya, the head of the Turkish Interior Ministry, shared the details of the operation through a post on social media platform X, per Caliber.Az.

"During operations against the terrorist group ISIS conducted in 16 provinces last week, 92 suspects were arrested. It has been established that the detainees were actively involved in the activities of the ISIS terrorist organisation. Unlicensed weapons, numerous organisational documents, and digital materials were seized," the statement reads.
Earlier, Yerlikaya announced the successful execution of Operation Gürz-46 across 51 provinces, targeting the PKK/KCK terrorist organisation. The operation, which lasted five days, resulted in the detention of 282 individuals involved in various illegal activities, including financing, recruitment, and promoting terrorism via social media.
Some detainees were either on the run or had prior prison sentences. Authorities also seized unlicensed firearms, documents, and digital materials during the operation.
