Operation GÜRZ-26 in Türkiye: 54 ISIS terrorists arrested VIDEO

Türkiye has carried out a significant anti-terror operation, Gürz-26, against the ISIS terrorist group across 18 provinces in the country. 

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya made a post on his X account highlighting the operation, Caliber.Az reports.

"As part of operations against the ISIS terrorist group conducted in 18 provinces, 54 individuals have been arrested. The prosecutor's office has initiated criminal cases in connection with the arrests. Twenty individuals have been arrested by court order," the statement reads.

Turkish intelligence services regularly carry out operations against ISIS. According to the Ministry of the Interior, more than 3,000 people have been arrested in the country over the past year on suspicion of links to the terrorist group.
