Over 100 homes damaged in Russian city following drone attack

More than 100 residential buildings were damaged in the Russian city of Novorossiysk following a drone attack, Mayor Andrey Kravchenko said.

According to the mayor, 61 private houses and 41 apartment buildings sustained damage. Writing on his Telegram channel, Kravchenko stated that property owners and residents would receive all necessary assistance.

The most severe destruction was recorded in the city’s Eastern District, where falling debris from downed drones sparked fires in three homes.

In the village of Myskhako, the blast wave shattered windows in a kindergarten building and damaged doors in five groups. Children were temporarily relocated to other premises, and repairs are expected to begin shortly.

The mayor also reported damage to a private house in Myskhako, where a gas pipe was affected. Gas supplies were suspended as a safety precaution.

From the night of March 1 until the morning of March 2, 66 drones were shot down over Krasnodar Krai. In total, 172 unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed across Russia during the same period.
