Overnight drone attack damages oil depot in Russia’s Rostov region

An oil depot in Russia’s Rostov region has been damaged by falling drone debris, according to regional Governor Yuri Slyusar.

Drones were shot down overnight over the city of Taganrog and the Kagalnitsky and Neklinovsky districts, Slyusar said. Administrative buildings at the oil depot in Kagalnitsky district were damaged when debris fell.

There was no fire and emergency services were working at the site, the governor said. No one was injured.

The Rostov region has regularly come under attack from Ukraine. Last week, falling drone debris damaged private homes, gas pipes and an electricity substation in the city of Azov.
