Owner’s son recounts response to Moscow’s Crocus City Hall terrorist attack
Singer and entrepreneur Emin Agalarov shared his firsthand account of the immediate aftermath of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, owned by his father Araz Agalarov.
As reported by Caliber.Az citing Russian media, Agalarov detailed his actions following the attack. "Together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel and Crocus City Hall director Roman Grachev, I personally entered the building 40 minutes after the first shots were fired. We went inside several times and spent more than 30 minutes there, traversing all evacuation corridors that were clear of smoke at that time," Agalarov recounted.
The businessman further disclosed that the venue's staff successfully accessed the server room, enabling the retrieval of surveillance camera footage. This footage proved instrumental for law enforcement in identifying the perpetrators behind the attack. Agalarov also mentioned that his personal security team and Crocus City Hall staff assisted in relocating the bodies outside, facilitating the evacuation process for those trapped in the burning structure.
