Pakistan, Saudi Arabia call for restraint amid renewed regional escalation
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud have expressed concern over renewed regional tensions despite the signing of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran in June 2026.
According to Pakistan's Foreign Ministry, the two officials discussed the latest developments during a telephone conversation and agreed that the renewed conflict serves no one's interests and undermines efforts to promote regional peace and stability, Caliber.Az reports.
