Pakistani Army destroys Taliban’s main base near Afghan border VIDEO
The Pakistani army has destroyed the main base of the Taliban movement during a strike on militant positions in the Spin Boldak area, according to the Telegram channel Clash Report.
Local sources report that following the successful operation, Pakistani troops raised their national flag over the “Bayrak” border post, located on Afghan territory and previously controlled by the Taliban.
The post was among several Taliban strongholds captured overnight and early in the morning as part of a large-scale operation by Pakistan’s armed forces in the border zone.
The escalation began on October 9 with Pakistani airstrikes on Kabul, Khost, Jalalabad, and Paktika—targeting TTP leader Noor Wali Mehsud (possibly killed, per unverified reports)—prompting Taliban retaliation on October 11: shelling Pakistani posts in Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram, and North Waziristan, capturing 19-25 outposts.
