Pashinyan allocates another $6.5 million to military Militarisation of Armenia

Armenia's Defence Ministry will receive additional allocations.

The relevant decision was made in accordance with the resolution adopted on July 27 at a meeting of the Armenian government, Caliber.Az reports with reference to Armenian media.

During the session, it was decided to reallocate about 2.5 billion drams in the law on budget for 2023 and allocate about 2.5 billion drams ($6.4 million) to the Defence Ministry.

As noted in the explanatory note to the decision, the Defence Ministry should be allocated 2,521,948,100 drams ($6.4 million) to ensure both current and capital expenditures. Part of the decision is confidential, other details are not mentioned.
