Pashinyan announces upcoming visit to Iran

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on February 13 that he will soon pay an official visit to Iran, though he did not disclose the exact dates or further details of the trip.
Speaking at a government briefing, Pashinyan said discussions and negotiations were underway on a potential agreement, adding that the document would be signed once the talks were successfully concluded, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
Earlier, Khalil Shirgholami, Iran’s ambassador to Armenia, stated that the two countries were planning to sign a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement. He indicated that the document was expected to be finalized during Pashinyan’s visit to Tehran in 2026.
