Pashinyan: Armenia, Russia to seek to improve bilateral relations

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan described his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek as “very good” and said the two leaders had agreed to continue their dialogue during a planned visit to Moscow.

In a post on Telegram, Pashinyan said the sides had agreed to maintain a sincere and constructive dialogue when he visits the Russian capital in the near future, Caliber.Az reports.

He also stressed the importance of bilateral relations between Armenia and Russia, while acknowledging that ties between the two countries need to adapt to changing circumstances.

“But we must also acknowledge that in this new environment and under these new conditions, these relations need to be transformed, and as a result of this transformation, I am confident that relations will improve—becoming more constructive, more beneficial, and warmer,” Pashinyan said.
