Pashinyan: "Armenia’s main energy resource is the sun"

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the country possesses significant energy potential, highlighting solar power as a key resource.

Speaking to local media, as cited by Caliber.Az, Pashinyan emphasised that Armenia has an abundant and naturally available energy source. “This energy resource appears above our heads in the morning without any management and disappears in the evening — it is the sun,” he said.

Pashinyan added that Armenia’s resource base is sufficient to ensure energy independence. “We have so many energy resources that the Republic of Armenia can, without exaggeration, be an energy self-sufficient country,” he stated.
