Pashinyan, Queen Mathilde of Belgium talk over Armenia-Azerbaijan peace
On October 15, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Queen Mathilde of Belgium in Yerevan to discuss efforts to establish peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and to promote regional stability.
During the meeting, Pashinyan highlighted the Queen’s leadership in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and outlined Armenia’s ongoing steps to fulfil its commitments in this area ahead of the 2030 target, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
Both sides also emphasised the importance of inclusive and quality education in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The discussion further covered the role of women in society and the measures being taken to expand their participation.
Queen Mathilde arrived in Armenia on October 14 on a working visit.
