Pashinyan’s party outlines plans to deepen ties with Türkiye, EU, US
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party has identified Türkiye, the European Union and the United States as key foreign policy priorities for the next five years.
The party’s draft programme, published on Armenia’s unified e-government portal, says Yerevan will work towards establishing diplomatic relations with Türkiye.
The document also calls for closer cooperation with the European Union under the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
Relations with the United States are another priority, with Armenia planning to deepen bilateral ties over the next five years.
The TRIPP project, also known as the “Trump Route”, is identified as one of the main areas of focus in Armenia’s planned engagement with Washington.
