Pashinyan says TRIPP will usher in new era of regional connectivity

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the implementation of the TRIPP project would usher in a new era for Armenia and its economy, as Yerevan seeks to expand regional connectivity following the establishment of peace with Azerbaijan.

Pashinyan made the remarks during a panel discussion at the Concordia Summit in New York, where he addressed questions about the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the opportunities emerging as a result.

He said current efforts were focused on implementing the TRIPP project, which he said would fully open up regional connectivity.

“This will open a new era for our country and economy,” Pashinyan said.

He added that the project would also put into practice the Armenian government’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative.
