Pashinyan: V-BAT drone acquisition strengthens Armenia-US defence ties

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the purchase of V-BAT drones from the United States.

Pashinyan made the statement in Yerevan during a joint briefing with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

“Significant progress has been achieved in cooperation in the military and defence sphere between Armenia and the United States. Continuing years of security collaboration and the exercises ‘Eagle Partner’ that have been ongoing for three years, Armenia has acquired V-BAT drones from the United States,” the Prime Minister said.

“I hope that this deal will serve as a foundation for further expanding our cooperation,” he added.
