Pashinyan: Yerevan to showcase new military equipment
Following a military parade at Republic Square in Yerevan, Armenian authorities plan to exhibit military equipment along Tigran Mets Avenue throughout the day, allowing the public to view modernised armed forces, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
Speaking during a meeting with voters in the town of Talin in the Aragatsotn region on May 13, Pashinyan said the public display on May 28 would give citizens an opportunity to observe new military equipment, training standards and a “changed mindset” within the armed forces, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
He encouraged residents to attend the event at Republic Square and along Tigran Mets Avenue.
He also highlighted the government’s achievement in establishing peace, contrasting it with what he described as a “three-headed party of war.”
“The party of war had 23 heads; we cut them off one by one, and three heads remain, and you must help us to cut off the remaining three heads once and for all," he added.
