Passenger bus collides with fuel tanker in central Türkiye, injuring 35

Thirty-five people were injured after a passenger bus collided with a fuel tanker at an intersection in central Türkiye's Kayseri province, state broadcaster TRT Haber reported on Tuesday, August 25.

The bus was en route from Cizre to the capital city of Ankara when the collision occurred. All 35 injured individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

The force of the impact caused the fuel tanker to overturn, spilling fuel across the highway. Emergency responders and municipal cleanup crews were dispatched to the scene to secure the area and clear the roadway.
