Passenger bus crashes into building in Russia's Veliky Novgorod

A passenger bus in Veliky Novgorod, Russia collided with a building in an accident reported by the Telegram channel 112.

“The incident occurred on Nekhinskaya Street. The driver of bus No. 19 first struck a streetlight pole before crashing into the building,” the report stated.

Video footage circulating online shows the bus lodged against the corner of a two-story structure.

At the time of the crash, three passengers were on board the vehicle. The bus driver sustained injuries and was promptly hospitalized by emergency medical personnel. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
